Walt Hagstrom has nearly 20 years of experience in energy. Prior to joining Humble Midstream, Walt served as CEO of HD Energy Holdings, which was focused on developing hydrogen production assets in California. During the same period, Walt led commercial activities and was an investor in Gulf Coast Midstream Partners, a company developing salt cavern storage in South Texas. Prior to that, Walt co-founded and served as Chief Commercial Officer of Pacific Traverse Energy. Before he focused his efforts on midstream start-ups, Walt spent more than a decade in commodities trading and tanker capacity brokerage for Shell, Marubeni, Maersk and Clarksons. Walt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications and business from the University of Colorado Boulder.
